OSHA continues to improve workplace safety

Pennsylvania is one of the top states for deer-related accidents

While hunting season ramps up in Pennsylvania more people will be encountering deer in the roads. Fall is the peak time of year when deer-related accidents are at their worst, especially in this state. Pennsylvania is in the top three states with the most deer-related motor vehicle accidents in the country. Local drivers have a one in 67 chance of being in a deer-related accident. The other top states include West Virginia and Montana.

Several Temple University students injured in flash mob attack

A recent "flash mob" style attack on Temple University students has resulted in four arrests and at least eight injuries. The flash mob started from a seemingly innocent gathering for a movie showing at Pearl Theater in North Philadelphia and resulted in random acts of violence. 150 teenagers gathered near the theater and began attacking university students returning to campus from the Temple football game.
