That is when the auto accident occurred. He allegedly ran over a man when he accelerated his car. He also allegedly hit another car that was parked nearby.

The man will be charged with aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, according to police. The man who was run over suffered minor injuries from the impact. The man who was run over in this case might have grounds for a lawsuit against the alleged perpetrator. A lawyer might be able to help the man seek compensation for injuries due to the car accident. Medical expenses as well as pain and suffering may be among the damages that the injured man could claim for compensation. A drunk driver who causes an accident can cause serious injury to innocent people. Fortunately, it appears the injuries in this accident were minor.
